About me

Painting and drawing, creative visual design has been an integral part of my life since I was a child. I have always painted, drawn, designed and been creatively active.

From an early age, I was fascinated by the paintings of the great masters of the Renaissance. To this day, their masterpieces continue to be a source of instruction, motivation and inspiration for me.

I did my first portrait at school at the age of 14. My art teacher at the time supported and encouraged me, letting me discover and try things out.

Then I took the next steps in costume design at the theatre. It was fascinating to see how costumes and make-up changed people and their faces.

In the years that followed, as an intensive care nurse and therapist, I saw and studied countless faces. I wanted to portray these special, challenging moments and life situations that presented themselves to me.

My various professional fields and activities enabled me to accompany and support my two children as a single mother. This challenging life experience continues to shape my artistic perspective and my understanding of human stories and emotions to this day.

The different facets and impressions that a face can reflect have always impressed me with their immense expressiveness and versatility. Over time, this has developed into my passion for portrait painting.

Over the years, I have learned and refined the craft and my artistic skills while working with various artists and portrait painters. In the process, I have found my personal style as well as my technical skills.
