If you would like to commission a portrait, please send me your wishes and ideas by e-mail.

Option 1: You send me your photos by e-mail. I recommend sending several photos, in good and sharp quality, so that I can get an impression of the person in different expressions. For a good result, it is necessary that the source photos have a good sharpness, preferably a close-up in daylight. The quality of the result also depends also on the quality of the photos.

Option 2: We will arrange a personal meeting where I will take photos and make sketches in your desired environment (as far as the distance is accessible for me).  In this way it is possible to obtain sketches and precise reference photos, where pose, light and shadow can be discussed and consciously chosen.

After I have processed your wishes, we discuss your ideas and their feasibility in detail so that I can also prepare a cost estimate. If this is accepted by you, the order is binding. Once I have received a deposit of 50% of the agreed total amount, I will start work.

After completion, I will prepare the dispatch. On request, I can send a preview photo of the result. At the same time, you will receive an invoice for the remaining amount including any additional costs incurred (shipping, packaging, framing) by arrangement.

Artworks with pastels or charcoal can delivered on request with a simple light frame with acrylic glas. Depending on the size, there is an additional cost of between CHF 50-100.

Shipping costs.

Each portrait is always sent together with the certificate of authenticity, dated and signed by me.

Each artwork is fully signed by me and dated with the current year.

The lead time for the completion of a portrait varies depending on the technique, size and number of orders on hand. It is advisable to plan well in advance.

Portrait in charcoal, pastel or graphite at least 1-2 months in advance. Portrait in oil technique on canvas 6 months (oil colours have a long drying time before they can be delivered with the final varnish).

Artworks in charcoal and pastel are not finished with a fixative. ( A fixative changes the colour and brilliance). That is why I send these works with a light frame made of acrylic glass. Artworks in oil artworks are provided with a final varnish.

The frame is a very personal and subjective choice that depends on the customer’s taste. After receiving your portrait, you can of course visit a local or trusted professional to try out different frames and choose the one that suits your taste.

Every artwork is carefully packed and labelled with marking tape. Shipping is possible within Switzerland and abroad.

The photos and sketches sent in and used for the portrait commission will be used exclusively by the artist for the creation of the portrait.

After completion of the portrait, the artist may ask the customer for permission to publish the portrait for advertising purposes on her website and in the relevant social networks.

If permission is refused, the portrait will of course remain private and will not be published in any way.
